Logistics

The logistic system translates as one more differential that Valinho offers.
Close to the Iron Quadrangle and to the production outflow routes, the company accesses the Midwest region of Minas Gerais through the road-rail network, which means more mobility for the customers that are part of the domestic market.
For the external market, Valinho uses the railway line of the Companhia Vale do Rio Doce  (CVRD), Vitória-Minas, in order to transport pig iron to the ports of Paul and Tubarão, in Espírito Santo. Besides this line, Valinho also supplies its international customers through the Minas-Rio Railway line of MRS Logística, which takes the product to the Port of Rio de Janeiro.
